The Fall Bridal Dresses I’m Loving Right Now

fall bridal is especially good right now. i've been saving so many fall bridal dresses and looks lately: lace, long sleeves, capes, sets, and slightly more unexpected options that feel perfect for the next few months.
these are the pieces i actually think are worth seeing right now. some feel very fall, others are just really good bridal looks that happen to work for cooler weather. there are options for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, courthouse weddings, after parties, and everything else you still need an outfit for.

01. lace is everywhere
lace has been one of the biggest bridal themes lately, but the options right now feel a lot less predictable. there are sheer lace dresses, high necklines, drop waists, lace sets, and some really good minis that don't feel overly bridal.
for fall especially, i love the slightly heavier and more romantic feel it adds without needing to cover up completely.
02. long sleeves, but not boring
i've been getting a lot of requests for long-sleeve bridal looks now that the weather is starting to cool down. there are obviously some actual long-sleeve dresses in here, but i also included sheer sleeves, interesting necklines, and a few options that give you more coverage without feeling conservative.

03. capes + layers
one of my favorite ways to make a bridal look feel more interesting right now is adding something to it. a cape, scarf, jacket, or dramatic layer can completely change an otherwise simple white dress.
it's also an easy way to make something you could wear year-round feel more appropriate for fall without buying a dress specifically for cold weather.
04. draping + ruching
i've been seeing so much draping and ruching in bridal lately, and i love how it can make a simple white dress feel a lot more interesting. some of my favorites right now have asymmetric draping, gathered waists, or fabric that almost feels sculpted around the body.
it's especially good if you want something minimal but don't want it to feel basic.
05. sets + separates
bridal sets continue to be some of my favorite things to shop for because they give you so many more options than a traditional dress. i'm especially into longer skirts, fitted tops, tailoring, and pieces that don't immediately read as "bridal."
plus, if you're buying multiple looks for your wedding, separates are some of the easiest pieces to actually wear again.
06. the minis
i'm not giving up bridal minis just because it's fall. the best ones right now have a little more texture or structure: lace, long sleeves, feathers, heavier fabrics, and silhouettes that feel less summery.
these would be especially good for an after party, courthouse wedding, bridal shower, or rehearsal dinner.
the takeaway
the biggest thing i'm noticing for fall isn't one specific trend. bridal just feels a little more interesting right now. there's more texture, more layering, more separates, and a lot more options that don't look like the same white dress we've seen a hundred times.
