36 Rehearsal Dinner Dresses Under $300

A great rehearsal dinner dress doesn’t need to take up a huge chunk of your wedding wardrobe budget. There are so many good dresses under $300 right now, whether you want something really simple or a look that feels a little more special for the night before the wedding.

I rounded up my favorites by style, including slip dresses, lace, minis, drop waists, and a few more statement-making options. Here are all of my favorite rehearsal dinner dresses under $300.

Slip Dresses

If you want to keep things simple, a slip dress is always a good choice. The silhouette is minimal enough that you can really change the look depending on how you style it. For a restaurant or slightly dressier rehearsal dinner, I love one with a great earring, an interesting shoe, and a small evening bag.

Lace Dresses

There is so much good lace in bridal right now, and it doesn’t have to feel traditional. I’m drawn to the more modern versions: sheer details, fitted shapes, delicate minis, and simple silhouettes that let the lace be the interesting part.

Mini Dresses

For a cocktail-style or more casual rehearsal dinner, a mini makes a lot of sense. There are also so many directions you can take and make it more playful. Look for bubble hems, bows, embellishment, unexpected necklines, or an interesting back.

Midi Dresses

A midi works really well when you want something dressier than a mini without committing to a full-length gown. Fitted shapes, draping, asymmetric necklines, and interesting fabrics keep the silhouette from feeling too basic. They’re also some of the easiest dresses in a bridal wardrobe to wear again later.

Statement Dresses

Sometimes you want the dress to do all the work. Sequins, feathers, fringe, rosettes, dramatic sleeves, and unexpected textures all fit here. If your wedding dress is on the minimal side, the rehearsal dinner can be a fun place to go in a completely different direction.

Not-White Dresses

There’s also no rule that says your rehearsal dinner dress has to be white. I always love blue for a bride, but butter yellow, pale pink, prints, and other soft colors work too. If you’re already wearing plenty of white throughout the weekend, this is an easy chance to change things up.

How Much Should You Spend on a Rehearsal Dinner Dress?

There isn’t a set amount you need to spend. Your rehearsal dinner dress is probably one of several outfits you’re buying for the wedding weekend, and there are plenty of really good options under $300.

Instead of paying more because something is marketed as bridal, I’d focus on whether you actually love the dress and whether it makes sense for the setting.
